ECODA has an extensive network of partners and is always building new connections. Partners are key to accessing the market intelligence, research expertise and strategic funding needed to maintain and grow ECODA’s mandate.

ECODA and its partners share a vision of a prosperous, sustainable and healthy Eastern Canada agrifood sector. Together, we are working on a five-year, $6.2 million oilseed crop research and development initiative. We’ve also delivered multiple research projects under the following three programs:

  • Agri-Innovation Program (2013 to 2018)
    • Total approved project budget of $6.65 million over five years, cost shared on a 50:50 basis between Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and ECODA’s partners
  • Agricultural Innovation Program (2012 to 2013)
    • Total approved budget of $1.07 million for one year, cost shared on a 75:25 basis between Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and ECODA’s partners
  • Developing Innovative Agri-Products Program (2010 to 2013)
    • Total approved budget of $4.3 million over three years, cost shared on a 75:25 basis between Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and ECODA’s partners
